'A Thousand Nights and a Night'
Since I am much better at digitizing than hand-guiding, all the quilting on 'Alf Leila Wa Leila' is computerized. Inspired by Arabic design elements, the Lemoyne star motifs and the dreamy colors of the fabrics, I wanted the quilt to convey the ambiance of our romantic notions of a harem.
Though the top, from the pattern 'Links' by Deb Tucker, was finished early in 2013, the quilting was finally completed, after much planning and practice, in November, 2016.
