In 2013-2014, six of us in the Bay Area Modern Quilt Guild participated in a Round Robin quilt challenge. Each of us created the first block of a top and then passed the block and extra fabrics to the next person. It was a rewarding experience and resulted in six amazing and distinctly different quilt tops. I enjoyed working on each one and was delighted with the end result of mine.
Finding a way to create a design to pull the somewhat random piecing all together was quite a challenge. Once over the initial designer's block, it was a lot of fun. 'Modern Geometric Border Corner Set' includes some of the custom-made patterns.
Note the change in thread color as each motif crosses a different color fabric. That was a lot of work tying and burying knots and I'm pleased that the outcome was worth the extra effort.
